Known by his patients as an artist and a warm, caring physician, Dr. Gilbert Lee, M.D. has built an impeccable reputation as one of the area's finest cosmetic surgeons. Dr. Gilbert Lee is part of the elite group of 5 cosmetic surgeons, who were voted Top Plastic Surgeon in San Diego by his peers for 2007 and 2008. Dr. Gilbert Lee earned his medical degree at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Gilbert Lee then went on to receive his surgical training at some of the most prestigious universities, among them Washington University, the birth place of plastic surgery. As a leading San Diego plastic surgeon, Dr. Gilbert Lee has continued to contribute to the field by publishing his advances in leading journals, presenting his work in cosmetic surgery at national conferences, and helping to train medical students and residents at U.C.S.D.
